OBJECTIVES

DIGIHAZ aims to support the increase of research and provide specialised training in digital transformation for natural hazards in Malaysia & Philippines.

Objective 1: To enhance the cooperation between DIGIHAZ cluster members to collaborate in research and the training of young researchers

Objective 2: To create new or update existing PhD programmes in order to develop new researchers in the field of digital transformation for natural hazards, aligned with the principles of sustainable development and reflecting the Malaysian & Filipino contexts.

Objective 3: To establish a digital platform to provide training for young researchers and facilitate the exchange of teaching materials.

Objective 4: To integrate research results on digital transformation for natural hazards into the teaching practices.

Objective 5: To increase participation of DIGIHAZ researchers international research actions, in particular in Horizon Europe calls.

Objective 6: To foster international mobility of researchers.

Objective 7: To enhance research priorities and outputs linked to digitalisation and natural hazards.

Objective 8: To establish a science communication & exploitation strategy and procedures to ensure the dissemination & transfer of research results & knowledge among key ASEAN stakeholders.
